avrdude done. Thank you.

Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I have been programming with the arduino uno and wanted to try the pro mini for a change.
So I have a pro mini with me and also the RS232 FTDI breakout board with me. i connected all the pins to their corresponding places and connected to the laptop, both the board and the pro mini light up, and the pro mini is blinking. the board is properly selected in the IDE and so are the drivers for the FTDI board.
But i tried uploading a blink program and it showed the following error.

avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x18

What should I do?

Did you try reversing the RX and TX lines.
Quite often that does the trick.

hello, I said that there is a shield easyvr 3 on the Arduino.

Hello, I unplugged the shield and I upload the code on the Arduino, it works, now anybody know how to transfer the voice recognition easycommander on Arduino code please

Maybe next time tell us you have a shield etc !

I wrote here

Ballscrewbob:

yes i did but it doesnt change anything. still the same error.

so I finally tried to make the pro mini work and turns out the issue couldnt be any pettier.
My solder joints of the pin header that connects the TTL to serial converter to the pro mini board wasn't gud.. SOO.. once that was sorted out. it works well.
