Error when attempting to install IDEv2 via flatpak

As above, I get the following error:

While pulling app/cc.arduino.IDE2/x86_64/stable from remote flathub: Invalid checksum of length 0 expected 32

This is on Linux Mint 21.1.

Any ideas?

Hi @wumfi. In order to make all relevant information available to any who are interested in this subject, I'll share a link to the related report here:

There isn't any information about the problem or a solution in that thread at this time, but I expect that some valuable information will eventually be added to it. So if you have a GitHub account, you might want to subscribe to that issue to get notifications of any new developments related to this subject.

As a workaround, I would recommend using the official distribution of Arduino IDE 2.x, which you can download from the "Software" page:

Thank you for that. I’m glad I’m not alone!

I’ve subbed to that issue page as you suggested.

You are welcome. I'm glad if I was able to be of assistance.

I see that the Flatpak package maintainer has now reported that the problem is fixed:

https://github.com/flathub/cc.arduino.IDE2/issues/50#issuecomment-1646323270

Apologies for the late response I was away. It appears the repo might have gotten corrupt. I'll tell the system to rebuild the package and that should fix it in a few hours or so.

Again apologies for the late response.

I can confirm that all is now well!

Please don’t apologise, we are all very grateful for such great open source fun!
