Error while uploading sketch

I'm newbie here at arduino , I'm trying to built a heart rate monitor with Bluetooth module.

compilation is done successfully but can't upload???

It shows this message.

Error message:

Sketch uses 4368 bytes (13%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32768 bytes.

Global variables use 1541 bytes (75%) of dynamic memory, leaving 507 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.
Low memory available, stability problems may occur.
An error occurred while uploading the sketch

It would be really nice of anyone like to help me.

Things to check:

  • Is the right arduino selected in the "Tools -> Boards" menu
  • Is the right COM port selected in the "Tools -> Port" menu
  • Does the RX/TX lights blink when you try to transfer your sketch
  • Try uploading a blank sketch ("File -> New")
  • Try reseting the Arduino right before the sketch is uploaded

Hope this helps

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

If your Bluetooth is also connected to pins 0 and 1, try uploading with the Bluetooth unplugged.

Have you written your code in stages uploaded and debugged them as you go, or did you write it all at once?

Thanks.. Tom...

PLS CHECK YOUR ARDUINO IS GENIUENE WITH FTDI CHIPOR A CLONE WITH CH340 CHIP . IF CLONE THEN YOU HAVE TO INSTALL DRIVERS FOR THIS.

Please do this:

  • File > Preferences > Show verbose output during: > compilation (uncheck) > upload (check) > OK
  • Sketch > Upload
  • After the process fails you'll see a button on the right side of the orange bar "Copy error messages". Click that button.
  • Paste the error messages in a reply here USING CODE TAGS (</> button on the toolbar).
