Errors on tutorial code

AWOL:
Which version of the IDE are you using?

That code compiles fine under 1.0, but may fail on earlier versions (thought those errors look more like IDE failures rather than compilation - I realise for you the distinction is very fine and largely irrelevant, but it is important to us)

I'm using Arduino 1.0, so, if this is IDE failures, how to I solve it?

EDIT: I ran javaw.exe and it worked. Thanks
