ESC + Steering servo over ethernet

Hello, I am currentloy building a project for school, it is my year 12 major design project. I am building a wireless rover that transmits live audio and video to a laptop and can be controlled by the laptop.

The part i need help with is that i have an arduino and an ethernet shield, I need this board to control an ESC on the rover and the steering servo, are there any threads out there, or ideas that you guys could reccommend? I am not too familiar with in depth code and would like to research a little more.

The ethernet shield will be hooked up to a router on the rover which will be wirelessly bridged to another router next to my laptop.

Is it possible to be able to control the ESC and the servo over this connection?
