I would like to mount my esp32 devkit v1 on my PCB using female headers. I know the pitch is supposed to be 2.54mm. I am however unsure of the length that should be between the 2 female header rows(for the two rows of male headers on the esp32 devkit to fit on the PCB) and I do not have appropriate measuring tools for the same. Any help?
No measuring tool ? Not even a simple ruler ?
Which PCB design program are you using ? Does it not have a footprint for the ESP32 board ?
I don't have a ruler that will measure to the accuracy of mm. I'm using easyEDA. Yes there is an ESP32 board but I want to mount the devkit.
I would be surprised if easyEDA didn't have a suitable footprint for your board
Add the footprint to a PCB design, print it full size and try the board on it

I don't have an ESP32 Devkit, but I can measure the distance from a photograph using 'Paint'.
Using the 'select' tool I selected a rectangle on the photo, the same width as the spacing between the rows of pins, and made it square.
By counting the number of pins in the height of the square and multiplying by the pin spacing it is possible to calculate the size of the square.
Answer: 10 x 0.1" = 1.0" = 25.4mm
