ESP 32 does not connect to WI FI

Hello to everybody. I've got an ESP 32 board which I have tried to connect to my Wi Fi modem through a program, but without success. When the program has been loaded, it has required me to introduce my SSID and PSW, I then open the serial monitor and I expect to see a Web Server direction. Nevertheless, what I see in the monitor is a message like this: a never ending "Connecting to ................," and the ESP 32 never conects to my WI Fi. I would appreciate any idea or suggestion to help me solve this inconvenient. Hugs.

Do you have a Nano ESP32 or an other ESP32 based board? The section where you posted is only for Nano ESP32 boards.

Do you think that we know what's going on without seeing your code? It might help others to help you if you post the code; please use code tags as described in How to get the best out of this forum.

I don't have experience with those boards so can't help further.

Maybe you have an 'ESP32' that needs an external antenna ?

May be... and if that were the case, how do I check if the my board has no antenna

Does your router accept new and unknown WLAN devices?
I can switch this on and off on my Fritzbox.

Paul, I don't know about that, all I did is to buy an ESP 32 board, copied a code which connects it to my wi fi modem and saw that it did not work. The board is a DEVKITV1.

That is not an Arduino Nano ESP32 and hence your topic has been moved to a more suitable location on the forum.
