ESP WROOM 32-E module not getting in flash mode automatically

Hi all,

Can someone tell me if it's possible to get the ESP WROOM 32-E in programming / flash mode without the need to press a button? I created a custom PCB with this module on in ( i did not add any RESET or BOOT button though). However it's not getting in flash mode when I upload a sketch from my Arduine IDE using a USB to UART chip (CH340C).

Below my schematic that i used. Is something wrong or missing? Or is it simply not possible to get it in flash mode without the use of a button? Thanks for providing a sample schematic or some suggested corrections to be made on my own schematic.

Try adding a 10uF capacitor between EN pin and GND.
