Esp32 Cam Power Supply

Hello! I have just started a project on creating a surveillance Wi-fi camera using ESP32 CAM. What should I use to power it?
Should I use a buck converter? Or can I use a simple 5V 2A power supply? Or maybe Lithium batteries with a charging module? I am doubtful about the batteries because I had a bad experience with it, it just blowed up. I am new to all of this.

That's the simplest and safest choice.

Thank you for the reply! Do I just directly connect it? Will it power the camera without any trouble?

Yes.
To the correct pins, VIN (5V) and GND.
But how are you uploading your code?

Read some good quality tutorial to start with:

I am planning to upload my code using FTDI USB to TTL Serial adapter

Thank you very much  I will use it

Good choice.

Like one of these?

Yes

Do you know how to cut off the connector and connect the wires to the camera?

I was thinking about using this, connecting it to 5V and GND and just plug in the power supply

If the photo doesn't upload. It's a female connector

If like this this then you are ready to go.

Yes, thank you for the reply!
