ESP32 WROOM Serial Output Start Up Report

Hi,
I would like to reopen " ESP32 WROOM Serial Output Start Up Report "

I don´t know why, but get GPIO15 to GND doesn`t work.

I have ESP32 S3 Wroom dev board.

Is it possible to disable it software?

Thank

Not so easy with a ESP32-S3 according to the ESP32-S3 Tecnichal Reference, chapter 8.3 pages 528 and 529
https://www.espressif.com/sites/default/files/documentation/esp32-s3_technical_reference_manual_en.pdf#bootctrl

Thank,
I found the another forum, there is question without answer, so I have the same question (copy/paste Esp32S3 - ROM Messages Printing Control - ESP32 Forum)

  • My problem is that I thought that registers had standard values at reset. So, my question is how is it possible
to change the value of this register before reset so that it can be taken into account when the chip is started ??
  • Does this mean that the value written in this register is retained after a reset ?
How does it work when the power is turned OFF then ON again ?

How to set register RTC_CNTL_RTC_STORE4_REG[0] to [1] ?

Sorry I don't know how to reopen the topic.
GPio15 grounding works for me.
However, there has been several ESP32 library updates since I last rebuilt my ESP projects.
So maybe something in new ESP32 libraries that has changed the GPio15 trick.
Start a new thread and let me have link to it please.

Even for your ESP32 -S3 chips or module ?

GPIO15 is not a 'strapping pin' for -S3 variant on @jakubdatel board (see message #1)
