ESP32 Wrover only support short wired OV2640 camera but not 75mm long wired camera why ?

the camera software "CameraWebServer" is running fine on two different ESP32 Wrover boards if the OV2640 has a short wire but if I use the same camera typ with a 75mm cable it doesn't work and I get the following error message.

E (1578) camera: Camera probe failed with error 0x105(ESP_ERR_NOT_FOUND)
Camera init failed with error 0x105

Have somebody an idea how I can solve this problem ?

wrong impedance ?

Do you have also the same problem or is this only your opinion ?

The device was ordered from Amazon and in my opinion the camera should be fine.
OK in the meantime I have send it back to Amazon.

But for me it is important that the camera with 75mm is working together with ESP-Wrover board.
Have somebody tested it with this ESP32-Wrover board ?

I don't have that hardware. Just suggesting to explore this.

the error seems to indicate that it can't find the camera.

it could be hardware related with the request not going through as expected due to the longer cable (since it's the same camera)

What was the specified maximum cable length for the camera you bought ?

OK, for me it's necessary to know that it will be work with the ESP32-Wrover board before I will order a new camara with 75 mm cable.

Has somebody realy test the combination (ESP32-Wrover with camera OV2640) ?

According to each offer it shoud be work fine.

But in the specification I had not found something about cable lenth.

But sometimes a special board, may be like the ESP32-Wrover has some trouble

Dunno about the Wrover itself, but the OV2640 is used on the ESP32CAM, lots of them about.

Yes it works fine but only withe short wire. But I not found something with the long wire. In the specification I have found the following.

According this lines it must work, I hope.

6.1.2 Check Camera Interface of Phone
Pin definition matches with camera module design.
AVDD is supplied by separate regulator. DVDD and DOVDD could be supplied by separate
regulator or shared regulator with other circuits. The voltage of each power supplied are within
sensor specification.
If there is a long flex cable to connect camera module to main board of phone, please make sure
the ground of camera module is not shared with other circuits. For flip type phone, share camera
ground with LCD module would cause very strong power/ground noise.
