ESP32 XIAO S3 SeeedStudio v1.2 and PMS5003 not working

Hi guys !

I have ESP32 XIAO S3 SeeedStudio with a PMS5003 Air Quality sensor and I can't achieve to make it work. I have uploaded the test firmware only showing the values provided by the PM5003 but when I open Serial monitor , nothing shows.

I am powering up the PMS5003 with the Volts output from the ESP32 XIAO S3. My main power source is the USB Port from my laptop

IMPORTANT: If i remove the sensor and upload a new firmware only sayin: "Hello World" by Serial port, this show correctly the text. What could be the problem ? I dont have any other components connected to the board

IMPORTANT: I have made the same test with a ESP32-WROOM and it works perfectly. Has anybody faced the sam problem ?

I did it because you weren't responsible enough to choose an appropriate forum category for your topic on your own. Please provide a detailed explanation of why it is that me moving your topic from the Nano ESP32 forum category to the Sensors category would result in nobody seeing your topic.

The serial you're reading from and logging to are the same object. That seems odd to me. How is your project wired?

Cross-posting is against the Arduino forum rules. The reason is that duplicate posts can waste the time of the people trying to help. Someone might spend a lot of time investigating and writing a detailed answer on one topic, without knowing that someone else already did the same in the other topic.

I tested the sample code on SeeedStudio wiki with the following testbed, and found everything works as expected.
