I have ESP32 XIAO S3 SeeedStudio with a PMS5003 Air Quality sensor and I can't achieve to make it work. I have uploaded the test firmware only showing the values provided by the PM5003 but when I open Serial monitor , nothing shows.
I am powering up the PMS5003 with the Volts output from the ESP32 XIAO S3. My main power source is the USB Port from my laptop
IMPORTANT: If i remove the sensor and upload a new firmware only sayin: "Hello World" by Serial port, this show correctly the text. What could be the problem ? I dont have any other components connected to the board
I moved your topic to a more appropriate forum category @junior_27 .
The Nano ESP32 category you chose is only used for discussions directly related to the Arduino Nano ESP32 board.
In the future, please take the time to pick the forum category that best suits the subject of your question. There is an "About the _____ category" topic at the top of each category that explains its purpose.
I did it because you weren't responsible enough to choose an appropriate forum category for your topic on your own. It is my unfortunate duty to clean up after lazy people like you who won't make the effort to read the description of the forum category when they come here to request free assistance.
This is the second time I have had to warn you about choosing an appropriate category. You get off with a warning this time, but if you continue to use this forum in an irresponsible manner, you will receive disciplinary action.
Please provide a detailed explanation of why it is that me moving your topic from the Nano ESP32 forum category to the Sensors category would result in nobody seeing your topic.
Cross-posting is against the Arduino forum rules. The reason is that duplicate posts can waste the time of the people trying to help. Someone might spend a lot of time investigating and writing a detailed answer on one topic, without knowing that someone else already did the same in the other topic.
In the future, please only create one topic for each distinct subject matter. This is basic forum etiquette, as explained in the "How to get the best out of this forum" guide. It contains a lot of other useful information. Please read it.
You have established a pattern of irresponsible use of the forum. It is clear that polite requests from the moderators are not sufficient so I have resorted to giving you a temporary account suspension. Upon your return to the forum, I hope you will start to behave in a more responsible manner. If not, a permanent account suspension will follow.
