i am making a PCB for my project in which i am using a ATmega828p microcontroller stand alone (not using whole arduino uno ) i want to add wifi functionality to it . i have searched the internet but found no solution , can anybody help me in deciding the wifi chip with pin connections
You yourself wrote the answer in the title; why not use an ESP8266?
I don't recommend using a chip unless you are experienced in PCB layout for RF
Use one of the ESP modules. There are over 50 different ones to choose from so you need to be a little more specific with your requirements
