Hello, I was testing my NodeMCU, I didn't have any problems. I accidentally unplugged it while the code was running, then I tried to run it again and this message appeared:
esptool.FatalError: Failed to connect to ESP8266: Timed out waiting for packet header
Yesterday I also had the error but the solution was simple, change USB port, but today that didn't work, NONE OF THE SETTINGS CHANGED THEY ARE NORMAL I CHECKED 100%.
