ESP8266 NodeMCU board USB driver and Windows 10

Hi all,

I tried to connect the ESP8266 NodeMCU board to my Windows 10 computer. However, the computer can't detect the board. I installed the latest CH340 driver (http://www.wch.cn/downloads/CH341SER_EXE.html) but still won't work. Any idea on this?

Thanks!

Hi all,

I solved my problem by changing the connecting cable from normal USB micro to USB-micro-B cable of cellphones - maybe cellphone USB micro cables have data transfer function so it worked!

Thanks!

I even have a similar issue and finally resolved it by changing the USB cable of ESP8266.
