Hello,

I am new to IoT world, recently I have purchased ESP8266 Nodemcu Cp2102 and I tried connecting it to my Laptop using an USB cable, while doing it I see a quick led blink on the ESP8266 board and goes away immediately. In Device manager I do not see the devices getting listed, is it something like my USB cable is not able to provide the needed power supply to the board? How can I verify this? Upon connecting the module with USB, does the LED glow continuously in the Board?

There are two, one is big and the other is tiny.
Neither is a "power LED".
You may need to install a CP2102 driver.

Thanks for providing the inputs.. Using a different USB Data cable seem to resolve the issue.
