esp8266 +oled+esempio

Buon giorno.
Ieri sera ho trovato questo NodeMCU/ESP8266 + OLED 0.96" 128x64 I2C SSD1306 using esp8266-oled-ssd1306 library - YouTube .
Pedissequamente ho seguito tutto il tutorial;ho installato lla libreria ssd1306.
Sono andato su Esempi–>Esp8266 and Esp32 Oled Driver for SSD1306 Display e a cascata i vari esempi.
Ieri sera il dispay li compilava senza alcun problema.

Oggi eseguo ci riprovo e -sorpresa-non funziona più!
Nel code,qualsiasi dei vari esempi mi dà "D3 was not declared in this scope!

Quello che non capisco è perchè ieri sì e oggi no anche perchè trattandosi di esempi non avrei potuto involontariamente modificato lo sketch.

Hai cambiato il tipo di board?

Ci ho pensato anch'io tanto che ho provato lo sketch con tutte e due senza risultato.
quello che mi meraviglia è che sono esempi gia predisposti ,per così dire.

Sì ma la scheda giusta la devi selezionare tu, e "tutte e due" mi fa pensare che non stai guardando nel posto giusto. Cosa c'è scritto in basso a destra nella finestra di Arduino?
