ESP8266 Wemos D1 and which e-paper?

Hi,
what is the right choice of a e-paper Display for my Wemos D1? I guess it has to be connected via SPI to the Wemos D1.
What is the most common e-paper Display to use, so that I want have problems with the library?
I have read something about a HAT? Do I need it?
Which library to use?
Power saving is important.

I suggest you take a look at Connection adapter board HAT connect for e-Paper display DESPI-C02,Evaluation Kit,e-paper disp (e-paper-display.com)

b/w 1.54" e-paper displays are usually good for low power use, as are b/w 2.9" displays. But there is no general rule.

Ok with examples from this WEMOS site,
and with @ZinggJM 's GxEPD2 library :wink:
