ESP8266 WiFi range extender + LCD, show also actual speed

Hello, I am using an ESP8266 with LCD and I added the range extender function, I am using it to connect 3 ESP and also if is not fast is perfect to communicate with other ESP.
However, I would like to know if there is a way to add some code that is showing me how much activity there is on WiFi (ap side or sta side), is like a network monitor, but on ESP8266.
There are some codes but they connect to the router and take the speed from it, or a speed test with ping on some server, I just would like to know if there is for ESP, showing the speed of communication between the ESP range ext and the other ESP in kbit/s or kb/s

I think there might be something but you can write it to do exactly what you want.
