Ethernet board microprocessor gets hot

Hi

I've tried the exact same sketch and setup on both my Uno and my Ethernet board. The only differences is that the microprocessor on the Ethernet board gets hot when I run the sketch.

The board drives three RGB LED's via PWM on pin 5, 6 and 9 (So all reds are on one, all green on one and so forth).

Any idea why the Ethernet board gets hot?

The wiznet chips run hot.

Yup the wiznet chip runs hot. Is that a problem? (I'm guessing it is)

According to Sparkfun's homepage it's quite normal for a wiznet chip to get hot. So guessing I'm okay.
