Ethernet problems

I have used the following:

Examples - Ethernet - Webserver with my Uno and Ethernet shield and can use my browser to access the IP address for my device where both the computer and Arduino are connected to the same router.

However, I should be seeing information such as client.print("analog input "); but instead I just see a blank page.

I am very inexperienced with the Ethernet shield configuration and I must obviously be doing something fundamentally wrong.

Hopefully, someone may suggest what I can do to get this working.

Sorry, false alarm!

When I go to the web address there is no data but now when I refresh the browser whilst on the address all the data appears. Not sure about the timing and how - but it displays what I expect so panic off.
It's all a bit of a mystery for an Ethernet novice.
