The Getting Started page has in the right side panel the Ethernet shield as retired even the shield is available in the Store.
The one that's for sale is the "Ethernet Shield 2"
The getting started page for the retired shield actually says:
The Ethernet Shield is a retired product. The Arduino Ethernet Shield 2 is available to buy
