hello everybody. I am thinking about buying the ethernet shield for the arduino and was wondering where is the best website to buy it from. can anybody point me to a store that sells it at a good price? i was looking for the original shield featured in the arduino website. thanks in advance.

The 'official' ethernet shield is not necessarily the best way to go as it is not the shield that has the most features or is better as far as hardware and libraries are concerned.

It completely depends on whether you need the extra little things on the 'better' ones. The cheapest one would probably do most people fine.
I have not got any real experience with any of the ethernet shields as I have never owned one (but have used one), so I couldn't really recommend one. Just go with your gut!
