Guys,

Does anybody used this LCD?

Are you sure that is the question you wish to be answered?

Don

I have one too from a CISCO phone. Can't find a datasheet for it :frowning:

Not at all surprising.

The word is "proprietary".

Oh shit. We got a white knight over here. I wonder if your 15,424 other posts are equally flippant. No wonder this forum is such a shithole and everyone uses Stack Overflow for arduino coding help. Also, it's not proprietary; I found a chinese fax machine with the same panel.

That's pretty much the description of something that is proprietary.

It doesn't matter how many products use the device, if the information about the device is not publicly available then it is proprietary.

I have got the same display. Probably the best way is reverse engineering. Do you guys have the Cisco board?

Probably it was custom manufactured to Cisco. Only Cisco and the supplier holds the data sheet, and they are not publicly available.

Your best guess to reuse this display is to hook up a logic analyser and see how the original board communicates with the display and reverse-engineer from there.

Good luck.
