Example Code not working.... with the Ethernet Shield

Hi guys, well I dont know what I am doing bad....

I just get my new Ethernet Shield.. so I tried to make work the example of the Web Server...
I get all the code and just change de IP adress...

I upload it to mi Mega 2560, and open the browser and write de Ip address and nothing....
i takes like to minutes and it says Conecction time Out....

Any ideas what i am doing wrong...
I connect the 13 of the Ethernet shield to the 52 of the mega
I connect the 12 of the Ethernet shield to the 50 of the mega
I connect the 11 of the Ethernet shield to the 51 of the mega
I connect the 10 of the Ethernet shield to the 53 of the mega

I just get my new Ethernet Shield

Is it a w5100 based shield?

yes it is. sorry i forgot that detail..

If your ethernet shield has a ICSP socket on the bottom, you don't need to jumper any pins. It should plug in and work.

If your ethernet shield doesn't have the ICSP socket on the bottom, then jumper D11-D13, but don't change D10. Leave it connected to D10.
