Example typo on loop() page

On the loop() function page there is a error on the 6th line of the program? I'm very new but as far as I know of it's wrong. beginSerial(9600);

Should be? begin.Serial(9600);

Page: http://arduino.cc/en/Reference/Loop Original code,

int buttonPin = 3;

// setup initializes serial and the button pin
void setup()
{
  beginSerial(9600);
  pinMode(buttonPin, INPUT);
}

// loop checks the button pin each time,
// and will send serial if it is pressed
void loop()
{
  if (digitalRead(buttonPin) == HIGH)
    serialWrite('H');
  else
    serialWrite('L');

  delay(1000);
}

Should be?

Almost... Serial.begin(9600);

Well spotted!

And the serialWrite's in loop(). Should they not be Serial.write

Yup. Example was written for an early version of Arduino.
