I'm in the early conceptual phase on several projects that would require remote Internet connectivity, and am looking for examples of what others have already gotten working.
If you have [or can post a link to] a successful Arduino project that collects data from sensors, then posts that data to a server/service on the Internet over a wireless link of at least 1km, and optionally receives remote commands from the Internet over the same wireless link that control any kind of actuator or display, please post a short description and a link to your [the] project.
Bonus points for:
- Mobile data collection
- Off grid operation (solar/wind/etc. powered)
- HW cost <$250 USD
- Operating costs <$20 USD / month
- Data streams including images
Thanks in advance.
