Exec: not started

Hey, my name is Kevin, I use a 64- bit windows operating system and the Arduino Uno. I was attempting to upload a code from Arduino Create into the board when the following message popped up as an error:

When I plug in my USB cable 2 bright lights and another dimmer light appears, When the Arduino is simply 'on' there are 4 bright lights present. Can someone please explain this error that keeps appearing?

Which bit is the actual error as there should be a little more at the end of your error text ?

The LED’;s on a UNO vary depending of whether it is a clone or an original one.
The CREATE editor caters to clones too in most regards.

Also when posting error codes or sketches please use code tags ( </> )

Sometimes simply doing a good clean up of a computers browser cache etc. can help sort out issues on CREATE so that is most certainly worth a try.

Well it says Executing command: exec: not started otherwise there is nothing else at the end of the error.

It is quite a rare bug but a little more information would still go a long way.

Which OS (details) ? Which browser (details) ? What type of USB port 2.0 3.0 etc. ?

Most often we need to be able to try and re-create the conditions you are using to be able to try and see what it is exactly.

I use CCLEANER and WISE REGISTRY cleaner very often to create a clean environment for testing create. Very often those same two tools fix a lot of issues and are both FREE of adverts and very reliable (FREE VERSIONS)

PS I take no responsibility for a slightly faster machine when those tools are used ;) LOL

USB 2.0 type A - B OS build- 17134.165 Browser- Google Chrome I do have a anti-virus software on my computer but it has expired long ago.

Even expired AV can still have active components. Always better to double check nothing is interfering.

Which version of Chrome ? (if there is an update let it do it)

Windows 10 does work with the plugin but you "may" have to re-install with complete administrative privileges (above a user with admin rights) Although I am thinking that might not be the issue here.

Could you also try in Chrome INCOGNITO mode just in case you have a browser element that is part to blame.

BTW did you use those utils I linked to ?
