expected initializer before numeric constant// Arduino&CoolMuscle(Control Room)

All,

This is my first time using the forum, so bare with me.

I’m trying to pass values from an Arduino Due to two programmable motors. The motors are CoolMuscle CM1-C-23L20C, and they use the cool muscle language(Control Room). Each motor is identified by a “.” and then the associated motor number “1 or 2”. For example, V1.1 means variable 1 for motor 1. V1.2 means variable 1 for motor 2. I wanted to use V1.1 and V1.2 as variables in the Arduino and just pass it along through a hard serial connection, but that doesn’t work. When I compile I get an error, “expected initializer before numeric constant”. Does anyone know how I can work around this?

int V1.1 = 0;//0 is speed zero
int V1.2 = 0;//0 is speed zero
int flip;
int flop;
if(-1*tol > dvert || dvert > tol)//check if the difference is in the tolerance else change vertical angle
{
	if(avt < avd)
	{
	flip = 1;
	Serial.println("flip_one");
	}
  else if (avt > avd)
	{
	flip = 2;
	Serial.println("flip_two");
	}
}
else{
  flip = 3;
  Serial.println("flip_three");
}

switch(flip){
  case 1:
  V1.1 = servoyLimitHigh;
  break;

  case 2:
  V1.1 = servoyLimitLow;
  break;

  case 3:
  V1.1 = 0;
  break;
}
Myservo_Y.write(V1.1);
Serial.print("V1.1");
Serial.print("=");
Serial.println(V1.1);

Code "snippets" are often useless as they need to be in context with the REST of the sketch.

Is this using the CREATE ONLINE editor ?
