External clock on arduino ble

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to sample a signal at 1.5kHz with an arduino 33 ble sense using timer interrupt. However after trying I realized that the internal oscillator has a pretty big tolerance from 1.5 to 8%.
So I would like to try connecting a external oscillator on pin XC1 and XC2 to use it instead.
However from what I can see on the schematic, those pins are not connected on any pin in the ble sense.

Can anyone confirm or disprove what I've seen?
