External ICSP connection - is there a recommended way, or standard?

Hi

What do you recommend as an external connector for an ICSP header on a project enclosure? Until now I've socketed ATTiny uCs and added an internal FTDI header on ATMega based projects but this isn't convenient for updating code if necessary, nor keeping enclosures weatherproof.

I googled for ideas without too much success. What is considered best practice?

Thanks, Geoff

I would consider the 6 pin RJ-12 connector system. That way you can use standard phone extensions cabling.

I have used din connectors, the socket looks quite good on a case.
They are however, a bit large.
