eye tracker

For the eye tracker I am using this plug-in to read it on Processinghttps://github.com/AugustoEst/gazetrack/tree/master/GazeTrack

For testing, i don’t have the eye tracker but i learnt that i can use mouseX and mouseY instead of gt.getGazeX() and gt.getGazeY(). Since it works the same.

and learnt this
if (mouseX > bx3-boxSize && mouseX < bx3+boxSize && mouseY > by3-boxSize && mouseY < by3+boxSize) { overBox = true; if(!locked) { thing2.play(); } } else { overBox = false; and then to use the eye tracker “mouse” changes to" gt,getGaze()" my box is a 20 x20 (boxSize) and the by,3 bx3 is just the coordinates where I want that

can someone explain this, am new to ardino

if (mouseX > bx3-boxSize && mouseX < bx3+boxSize && mouseY > by3-boxSize && mouseY < by3+boxSize)

This looks like is testing whether the current X and Y coordinates are within a box whose corner is at bx3, by3 and that the box is boxSize pixels square.

However, as you have posted only a snippet of code and in an appalling way, who really knows ?
