Hello,
This is my first post on this forum, i'm totally new with arduino and electronics (reading a lot these days) and would like to build a large 12v fan controller (need 12x pwm). i have bought already an Arduino Mega R3 and was thinking about purchasing a few Arduino mega click shields with a combination of Fan 2 Click / Fan 3 Click boards. (i'd rather have 1 pcb with 12 outputs, but think this is out of my league)
Noise is important so i'm undecided controlling them by pwm or voltage. i came along these click boards and was wondering how many fans you could connect for each pwm line on the fan2click board. (i wouldn't use the powerout(5v) on these boards, just the pwm output (seperate power for 12v).
is there a limitation on how many fans i could control with 1 pwm channel ? (i need 6 fans on 1 channel
(Noctua NF-F12 iPPC -2000 ip67 pwm) (1.2W/0.1A). ic used on fan2click is MAX31760, this is the datasheet.
Very excited to get started
