Faulty arduino?

My arduino, is stuck on an orange light. Every bit of code is ending with "An error occurred while uploading the sketch" . Even on blink and just the basic starting code. all ports match, i just haave no clue.

First, what Arduino are we talking about? Is it genuine or clone?

Hiya, its a Elegoo UNO R3.

What Windows? In Device Manager, Ports and LPT, what entries do you see?

I see arduino Uno (COM3), communication port (COM1), Standard serial over bluetooth link (com3) and the same but com(4). Windows is - windows 11 pro

Yeah..., didnt actually notice that. That could very muich be the reason

I'd unplug the Elegoo, then uninstall the Bluetooth links, plug in the Elegoo again and try.

Np you too! And if you actually use serial over Bt, it's easy to install again.
