Favorite GPS module?

I'm in a brainstorming stage of a big project right now (usually the stage that any project dies at for me :-[ ) and right now I'm working on positioning.

So, I wanted to see what GPS modules you guys prefer in your projects?

Cost-wise doesn't matter too much (I assume they are all within the same range), but I'm really looking for quality and interface-ability (I realize most use the NMEA standard, but some, I'm sure, are just plain old hard to get working).

Cheers

In terms of interfacing they're all pretty similar: just serial comms using NMEA sentences, and there are existing libraries like Mikal Hart's very nice TinyGPS for decoding that easily.

heh, just got me a speed camera 'detector'. really it detects your position and compares it to a database of every camera in the country . .

anyway it has a sirfstar III in it and only cost £12 , can't wait to hack it up. i'll tell you if its shite or not hehe
