Hey everyone, I'm brand new here and brand new to working with computer hardware. I'm working on a project with a friend and I'm trying to piece together a pretty small Amazon-Echo-like piece to fit inside of a doll. (I know, it's strange, it's weird, I'm sorry.)
They found the Adruino Trinket, which would be a great board to use- if I knew how to use them.
I found an amazing tutorial for making an Echo with Adruino; but would it work with a Trinket? Arduino Project Hub
I have seen you can't plug shields directly into the Trinket. Is there a connector piece I could use? Or a smaller, more specialized shield I could use than this all-in-one version that would be for voice recognition? I couldn't find one on the shield list, but maybe I'm looking for the wrong search terms.
I don't have the doll in my hands yet, my friend is mailing it to me, but the outside measurements are as so (so the inside would be smaller)
The head is 2.11x2.84x2.71 Probably place the speaker and maybe a microphone in there. The original tutorial didn't call for a microphone as it seemed to be using the cell phone for that.
The chest is 2.22x1.77x3.69 It's taken up partially by the hips (they're two separate pieces), so I probably won't put anything there.
The hips are 2.89x1.8x3.5 The Trinket is only maybe 1x1, so that would fit fine anywhere really. The 1shield used in the tutorial is 3.1 x 2.7 x 1.2 inches though.... so it MIIIGHT fit, but I'm not holding my breath.
Thanks so much for any help or pointers!
