I am a Newbee to this and am getting thru it slowly.
I am running this on Linux Zorin.
was attempting to burn a bootloader on an Nano ATmega328p ( tried 2 brand new boards)
what do i need in this file?

It is not necessary to have a “user” configuration file, as long as the system config file exists.
I believe that what you’re seeing is “standard “ for arduino operation.

That is normal.

Try the 'old bootloader option' under tools->processor in the IDE.
