File exange database

Hi arduino crew,

have you thought about a file exange database for arduino sketches?
There anybody could upload a file, so that others can find, download, rank, comment, dicuss and correct bugs.

An good example of what I mean is the Matlab central:

Arduino world has the playground ...

Hi rob,

the playground is great, but it could be better. For example:

  • When is search for a timer code there are many different and there is no rating to help me chonsing one.
  • When I find a bug or a improvment, where should I post it? In the Forum?
  • Newbies certaily whoun't have the courage of posting their scraches as it looks "official".
  • Using abreviations like "AVR" confuses newbies.

So the playground may be great for experienced arduino users. But for newbies it is quite hard to use.
Take a look at the matlab file exange. It is increadible how easy you find the script you need.
I belive that an easy file exange would increadibly increase the the ammount of scrips beein posted and making it easyer to build your arduino project.
