I am trying to use additional libraries but I am unable to do so because most of them are zipped files that have files within them with like names and when the unzipper goes to extract them in the specified folder, it cannot succeed because of file name conflicts. Any solutions?
Which libraries?
Which operating system and unzipper are you using?
Vista and its File Extractor. Now that I think about it, doesn't a file extractor and a file unzipper perform the same operation?
ya, its just 2 different names, but! sometimes ms and "other" systems dont always agree
but a unziper program like winzip or winrar is free for a while and are, ... more adherent to the quirks of the real file format which may or may not be supported in Microsoft products
It is not that the are not able to produce a product that is 110% on the spot, but they do have a bit of a "problem" with the operating constraints applied on them
Try winzip or winrar, they are tiny and harmless long time compression software
I was able to extract the libraries using WinZIP on Vista without problems. It appears the problem is the built-in extractor.
I had similar problems recently on Vista, unzipping a zipped folderstructure with a bunch of files and folders i recieved from an graphics Artist.
The files was zipped on a Mac, and got "file already exists" problems when unzipping them on my Vista machine.
This is what I have been using and it works fine now. Thanks everyone for the quick responses.
