Filtering for Board to Board connectors

Hi All,

is it necessary to have filtering caps for board to board connectors. my connector cable is just under an inch. When would i need it if not now ?

Depends on what you're coupling to what, the cable type, whether it's shielded or not, and how noisy your environment is.

Probably not for such short connections.

i2c is a 20 x 4 LCD and others tactile switch, a rotary encoder and two LED on the interface board.
