finger as a bridge with e-textile

Hi, I'm new and a I speak (and write) a bad english, but I'll try to make me understand. For my degree project in Product Design, I'm trying to use an e-textile as a botton: I have two pieces of e-textile divided but connected with a circuit as + and -, and I would like to try close the circuit using my finger as a bridge.

Is it possibile to transfer electricity in this way?

Thank you all
Andrea

P.S. don't kill me for the dummy diagram

The finger doesn't conduct much so you can't really use it to complete a circuit like that.

The CapSense library (Arduino Playground - HomePage) will let you use a conductive patch as a touch sensor. I don't know how well that will work if the conductive patch is close to the body. May require extra insulation on the inside of the garment.

Not directly but I've built a touch sensitive switch with a cmos nor gate ic and a 1 meg resistor, look around online for touch sensitive circuits
