Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to interface between, Arduino UNO and RC-A-4005 fingerprint module having 8 pins? Images are posted with it.
Probably the same one as Adafruit sells.
As usual with Adafruit the library that comes with it works just fine. Unfortunately in my experience the finger print scanner itself sucks big time and proved to be a waste of money and effort. If you have any luck scanning your finger prints and get matches more than one out of ten tries let me know how you do it. I have two or three of such scanners and that's the best performance I got out of them. It's not my fingers - I also got a ready-made attendance taking device and that scanner works flawlessly...
