Fingerprint Scanner Module Authentication Issue

Hi everyone! My name is Jacky Ang, I brought my fingerprint scanner module from Adafruit.
Everything is working well, I can enroll my fingerprint and search for an authentication propose.

But, my problem is I am intended to create a system that will verify whether the fingerprint match with those template in database which stored in ROM of sensor, and when it is not match it will give another changes but when failures occurs up to 3 times it will trigger the alarm as well.

Sorry for my poor English, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Here is my coding, alarm system is not added yet. when the fingerprint scanner get an image that are not match with database it will return -1, but problem is even I didn’t place my finger on scanner, it will continuously assume not match, how do i solve this?
