FIO Powering

The page here >> http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoBoardFio lists the powering capability of FIO as follows:

Microcontroller ATmega328P
Operating Voltage 3.3V
Input Voltage 3.35 -12 V
Input Voltage for Charge 3.7 - 7 V
Digital I/O Pins 14 (of which 6 provide PWM output)
Analog Input Pins 8
DC Current per I/O Pin 40 mA
Flash Memory 32 KB (of which 2 KB used by bootloader)
SRAM 2 KB
EEPROM 1 KB
Clock Speed 8 MHz

but before powering it i want to make sure from where i should power it with 7.4volts that i have from a battery? is from the +/- BATT points ?

Based on the schematic, Vbat is attached to the 3v3 regulator. Sounds like that's where you want to attach it.

How would the charging work on that.. Lets say i hook up a 7 volt LiPol battery to that.. Would it be able to charge with a usb 5v supply?

The on-board charger is for a single cell LiPo. It would not work with a 7.4v two-cell.
