I am trying to make a led christmas light show and my leds keep flickering since I changed my data cable to a longer one
I have...
3x 150 ws2812b led strips
3x 5v 10AMP power supplies
Arduino uno
220 ohm resistor on data cable
3X 0.1uf capacitor one per cable at the begining of each power supply
The led strips are all sharing the same ground cable
each 150 led strip is running off its own 5v 10amp power supply
I have attached a video of the lights flickering, If anyone has a suggestion please let me know
In my experience with ws2812b led strips (mine are ws2812b 60leds/meter and only 1 meter) I didn't use a resistor on the data line and I've used a 6.3v 1800uf cap. The example I was following used 1000uf but i didnt have one handy. I don't know that this is the issue with your setup but its what works for me using an arduino, arduino nano, and a NodeMCU Lua ESP8266 V1.0. May be worth a shot.
Like this but with the cap screwed into the green terminal block along with vcc and ground.
