Flight Simulators korry switch

Hello
I have a flight simulator under construction. The problem now is the korry switch. The switch is non-locking. The purpose is to use the four pins of the switch, the middle two turn on the indicator light on the side and send an impulse to the computer. To turn on the light, I use a single-use LED with a push switch and keep it on the program. But. When I also connect the wires that send the signal to the keyboard to the middle pins, everything gets messed up. The right key is not pressed, but the keyboard starts typing an endless series of letters. I am asking if it is at all possible to use the middle pins of the switch for two different purposes. As the question reveals, I am a complete beginner and tomorrow I will forget what I have learned today. Really grateful for the help.
