Floating City Model Help

I am a junior high teacher and we are looking for some help with a project. We have some Arduino experience but would still consider us beginners. We want to build a model of a floating city and want to use the Arduino in some way to represent any ONE of these ideas: a certain color led light goes on to represent a warning for dangerous weather ahead, some way to represent the desalination process or water cycle, some way to represent transportation through the city using a motor. Any other idea are absolutely welcomed as we are still in our planning stage.

I'm not sure what you mean by "represent any ONE of these ideas".

If all that you want is to turn on a warning light when some condition applies then any Arduino could manage all of them at the same time.

  • What are the inputs that would trigger each of the condtions?
  • For each option, what do you want to happen when the Arduino detects the trigger condition?

What is the age group of your pupils?
