Food process

Hi all, I'm going to build my Arduino project but I need some help.
I need to monitor a pastorization process, from 4 deg to 85 deg and back to 4 deg, log the temp every minute, store the data on an SD card, read the data via wifi.
Important, I need it records only during the pastorization, I have a digital input on during it, basically I don't want any data recorded when the digital input is off.
This project is a bit too complex for me atm, can someone help.
Thank you so much

If you want someone else to code it, you should post in the Gigs and Collaborations sub forum.

Take down on paper which sensors You need. It looks like only a tempertures sensor.
Any Arduino will do. Being a fan of Arduino UNO I would try that. Using the magnifier symbol, up to the right in this window, and search for Arduino + temperature. You will find a lot there.
Then search for Arduino + SD. You find a lot.
Make the controller work with one of the periferals at the time and make sure You know what it is about. Then bring both periferals into the Project.

I like the DS18B20 digital temperature sensors. They are pretty easy to use in conjunction with the OneWire and DallasTemperature libraries.

I've used an SMT172. I think it is a TO220 cap, good for clamping to a flat surface.

There is also an IR measuring temperature sensor that works well, MLX90614.

What is PASTORIZATION ?
I’m guessing some method of inculcating religious beliefs...?

You have not done Your homework. The name comes from a French guy, Louis Pasteur. He discovered the bacteries. If, what ever it is, heated up to some 70 degrees Cecius and then cold down, the bacteries are killed.

Also posted in gigs.

You have not done your homework. The name comes from a Swedish guy, Anders Celsius.

Nop! That Swedish guy established the temperature scale that later got his name. The question was about Pasteurization.

{facepalm}

No, I believe you're confusing that with pastoralism.

‘?’ spelling is quite important.
I was being provocative,
or as my late mother would have said I was ‘obstreperous’ as a child
— it stayed with me.

PASTEURIZATION is the correct spelling.
Don't people realize that there is a spell-checker in the reply window.
If you type something and the spelling is wrong there will be a red wavy line under the word.
Right click on it will show you the right spelling.

detown:
PASTEURIZATION is

an acceptable spelling.

"Pasteurisation" is another.

PastOrization, pastOrisation are not.

Ditto - imagine the Swedish guy getting the other Swedish guy's name wrong.
