FOR function

Howdy Yall,

I am new to the Arduino. I tried the basic code (see below). I was expecting to see numbers 1-10 separated by commas on one line. What I get instead is just number 10 repeatedly. So how does the FOR function work? All I found online is examples with no explanation of the mechanics of this function.

Thank you for your attention

void setup() {

Serial.begin(9600);

}

void loop() {

int i;

for(i=0; i<10;i++);{

Serial.print(", ");

delay(2000);

Serial.print(i);
}
}

for (i = 0; i < 10; i++); {
                        ^

whoopsie

I tried the basic code (see below).

You two taking the same online course?

No. I was trying to figure out what was wrong but missed the colon - that's after going to the reference to check.

Creeping old age. (Not exactly creeping either >:( ) Should see my optometrist :)
