For those who have a problem with buttons...

I am not sure how many people have run into this problem, or know how to get around the problem, and i also dont knw were to post this, but here you go:

if you are ever using a breadboard (specially people like me who are learning arduino stuff) and use one of those 6mm buttons with the bent wire feet things, you might notice that the button poorly connects with the breadboard... the answer to this is to take some pliers and unbend those wire feet... that way they can reach/make good contact with the metal in your breadboard...

once agian, im not sure how obvious this is, but it took me like an hour to figure out why one of my simple circuits wasnt functioning, till i did this and it finally worked... so yea, just want to help the community

I sometimes use parts on a solderless breadboard which have pins that really don't fit the breadboard very well. In that case, I solder them to some header pins that do fit the breadboard well. Rather defeats the purpose of a solderless breadboard, but it does make the circuit more reliable, which might be important when proving a design.
